We have seen what the God-Kind of faith is, so now we shall see how to operate the God-Kind of faith. For us to really understand this we must study the source of this faith himself. We will look at him and see how he operates this faith and we would learn how to also operate this faith.God created the world, he did it by faith (Heb.11:3). So let’s go to Genesis where the world was created and let’s see how the God-Kind of faith was put to the work of creation.
Gen 1:1-3 KJV
In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.3 And God SAID, Let there be light: and there was light. (Emphasis mine)
From the above scriptures we can see that the way Faith operated here was by SPEAKING.
Let’s see what Paul said about this:
Rom 4:17 NIV
As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed — the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.
Its clear now that the way God operates his faith is by CALLING THINGS that be not as though they were. Isn’t what he did in Genesis? All he wanted to see he called them to manifestation. So we can conclude that the God-Kind of faith operates by speaking. We call forth our desires.
Let’s see this scripture:
2 Cor. 4:13 KJV
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
We also have that same spirit of faith that God has. So we do like he does. He speaks what he believes. He speaks out what he wants to happen. He calls the things he wants to see in the physical realm and they obey.
Beloved, don’t go about speaking your fears and doubts. Speak your faith. Speak what you believe. Speak answers not problems. That’s how the God-kind of faith works. It works by speaking forth your desires. Start doing it now and see results.
Let’s see how Jesus applied this same principle:
Mark 11:12-14 NIV
The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.
Jesus here spoke to a fig tree. Let’s see what happened next.
Mark 11:20-21 NIV
In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
You see what happened? The following day the fig tree withered from its roots. Jesus here also used the same principle of faith we have been talking about. See what he told them when his disciple saw what happened.
Mark 11:22-23 YLT (Young Literal translation renders this scripture more accurately.)
And Jesus answering saith to them, ‘Have faith of God; 23 for verily I say to you, that whoever may say to this mount, Be taken up, and be cast into the sea, and may not doubt in his heart, but may believe that the things that he saith do come to pass, it shall be to him whatever he may say.
Did you see Jesus’ answer to them? He said to them, Have the faith of God, meaning it’s by the faith of God or the God-Kind of faith that I was able to do this. If it were impossible for the disciples to have the God-Kind of faith Jesus won’t ask them to have it. So it’s possible to have and operate the God-Kind of faith as a believer today.
Jesus told them and is telling us today. Faith operates by speaking. Speak to the problem not about the problem. Use your tongue to change the circumstance. Don’t complain about it just change it. You have what it takes right now.
Start now to speak to those mountains and see them melt away. Don’t worry when they don’t move the first time you spoke. Keep speaking. The fig tree didn’t die the very moment jesus spoke to it so when yours take some time don’t be discouraged at all.
The God-Kind of faith operates by calling things to manifestation
